Hi, I'm Sam!
It was the summer of 2021 when I found myself crying in my car, with my twin sister on speaker phone, confessing to her "I just never thought I'd be a single mom."
She gently said, "Sam, I don't think anyone gets married and has kids thinking they're going to be a single mom some day." (as gently as that can be said haha).
That was one of my turning points.
My fear was that I couldn't manage it all...running my business, having full custody of my son (9 months old at the time), keeping up with my house & and staying sane while doing it all. Finding time for myself? No way.
But what I was ALSO clear on: the type of mom I wanted to be. Present, caring, patient...even amidst the future meltdowns & my sons growing defiance/independence.
So, from the very beginning, I've been focused on becoming that mom, ESPECIALLY as a single mom. There was about a year of the really MESSY middle...working through a lifetime of people pleasing, finding my voice, self sabotaging and more...but I came out on the other side and am continuing to work on the version of me that I want to be.
I LOVE this version and I'm so empowered to help other moms show up as the version of them that THEY see in their dreams (not the stress balls they feel like every day).
We're in this together, mama. Let's do this!
